A noble and ancient variety cultivated on a few hectares of land in the Messina area overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and its history. La Baronia, in Capo Milazzo, is a vineyard cultivated according to sustainable and organic criteria. It is absolutely spectacular, surrounded by the sea and centuries-old olive trees, under the gaze of five of the seven Aeolian Islands. Marine red, with aromas of Mediterranean scrub, myrtle, and garrigue.
Deep, intense ruby reflections. The nose is original and unusual: white pepper, geranium, and summer fruit, ripe plums and figs from Noto. The palate is persuasive and smooth, the hallmark of this ancient Sicilian variety that is waiting to be discovered. The vines are still young, as is the structure of the wine, which nevertheless remains completely original.
