SANTA CECILIA ROSSO BIO 0,750 - DOC NOTO

SANTA CECILIA ROSSO BIO 0,750 - DOC NOTO Santa Cecilia is our flagship wine, made from the most important Sicilian grape: Nero d'Avola. Our extensive search for the ideal place to make a great wine with this varietal led us to Noto, the varietal's homeland and home to the Noto DOC, at the southeastern tip of Sicily. With its white soils and ancient vineyards, it has always been the epicenter of Nero d'Avola cultivation, certified organic since the 2021 harvest. Santa Cecilia embodies elegance, power, balance, and the exaltation of the unique aromas of Sicily: today, it is a benchmark for red wines made from native Sicilian grapes. Its name derives from our family name: Planeta di Santa Cecilia.

PASSITO BIANCO BIO 0,500 - DOC NOTO

PASSITO BIANCO BIO 0,500 - DOC NOTO Sicily is a land of sweet wines in every corner, with different styles and varieties. According to many, Moscato – or rather Moscati – is the original grape; for others, BIBLINO from Syracuse – the first wine described in Sicily – was the father of the current Moscato Passito di Noto. An ancient wine that has become contemporary thanks to a modern drying system. Viticulture according to the criteria of sustainability and organic farming combined with careful vinification that respects and protects the aromatic profile. Explosive aromas of exotic fruit, jasmine, and candied citrus fruits make it complex yet easy to love. The ideal companion to the great Sicilian tradition of desserts and ice cream.

CONTRODANZA ROSSO BIO 0,750 - DOC NOTO

CONTRODANZA ROSSO BIO 0,750 - DOC NOTO Controdanza, from “country dance,” is a traditional rural dance in which the dancers move elegantly in a game of contrasts and understanding. This is what we imagined when we combined Nero d'Avola and a small amount of Merlot, grown in the white soils of Noto. An unconventional combination, based entirely on contrast rather than similarity. It was created as a classic “second wine” from vineyards that, despite being located in the valleys surrounding the Buonivini Winery, do not meet the standards for Santa Cecilia. These are the lowest parts of the valleys, where the fruit prevails over the balsamic notes typical of Nero d'Avola on the limestone of Noto. .
